Today we drove over 3 hours to take the Antelope Canyon tour in Page, AZ. We were a little apprehensive when we saw our tour bus. Henry, our guide, drove (what seemed to us) as fast as he could down a dry, soft-sand river bed. It was a crazy ride, bumping and bouncing. He said we didn't need to worry about the seat belts not working because he never drove over 45 -- lol
The canyon is phenomenal. Look at the bottom of the picture to get a perspective of the people looking up the canyon walls.
Ken took lots of pictures with his phone. This is his favorite.
Likewise, Mary Lee took lots of pictures. Henry, the guide, gave her several tips as we walked through the canyon. He even took her camera and took several pictures with it. I think he just wanted to play with her camera. We can't tell which ones he took and which ones Mary Lee took. This spot in the canyon is called the heart of the canyon -- see the heart. You can also see the head of a wolf. This is Mary Lee's favorite.
beautiful photos!!!! I can't believe you rode in that truck for 3 hours...was it very comfortable? Miss you, but glad you are having such a great time!
ReplyDeleteThankfully, we did not have to ride in the truck for 3 hours. It was 3 hours from Williams where we are camped to the canyon in Page, AZ.
DeleteI have never heard of Antelope Canyon but I certainly want to go. I hope Mary Lee is having lots of fun with her new camera.
